The first meeting is always mainly as an assessment of your level of knowledge of a language. The lessons are one to one up to maximum of 2 persons at a time. This allows me to adjust my teaching to suit your level of knowledge.

A lesson can vary but I try to combine the "dry" bit such as grammar or pronounciation with some fun bits like reading a famous story.

Learning different languages at college helped me to undertstand the syntax, structure and the grammar of each language I learnt.

To speak a different language it is important to know the exact intonations as it could change the whole meaning if you pronounce the word differently. Therefore I am very keen that you not only learn the language but also prononce the words correctly.

German is offered to students from 4 years old upwards at all levels. This could be children who will move to a German country, students who prepare for their GCSEs or A and AS Levels exam or adults who are retraining and need German as a business language.
